Our servers are all hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) which is to be slated to only run on 100% Renewable Energy by the year 2025. As of 10 July 2024, Amazon reported that they have hit this milestone in 2023.[2]

When printed materials are required, we use biodegradable materials to reduce our impact on the environment. This means cutting down on outer packaging plastics, repurposing printed materials, and using paper sourced from sustainably grown trees.
Together with One Tree Planted, we have been actively committed to planting a tree for every event Evenesis has supported. One Tree Planted is a nonprofit organization that aims to battle deforestation by planting trees all over North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Our partnership makes it easy for everyone to contribute to the environment, foster a healthier climate, preserve biodiversity, and support reforestation initiatives.

The importance of a single tree cannot be understated, as a single tree can absorb anywhere between 10 and 40kg of CO2 per year on average! [3,4,5]. This means that over its lifetime of 30-40 years, a tree can absorb up to 1600kg of CO2.
