Tim is a nuclear physics researcher at the Australian National University (ANU) Research School of Nuclear Physics, where he studied as a Tuckwell Scholar.

Growing up in Mansfield, in rural Victoria, Tim was always curious about how the world works. He is following his dreams of uncovering these mysteries as a researcher.

Tim graduated from the ANU with a Bachelor of Philosophy in Science, specialising in Nuclear Physics. He will soon start his post-graduate studies at ETH Zurich.

When he isn’t learning more about the universe himself, Tim teaches as a sessional academic at ANU.

He has also mentored several students as part of Science Olympiad, and is one of the founders of the Young Stars program.
